Some Random Thoughts on Prague

Czechs love their beer and wine.  It is cheap.  Great wine for $6 a bottle.  It has a different flavor, very smooth and flavorful. Beer is not pasteurized, flavorful and cost less than a coke.  A 16oz beer is about $3 for a Pilsner Urquell and It is everywhere.  Today we saw a wine and beer bar in a Ben and Jerry's ice cream shop.  I have become a beer drinker.

Last night Scott and I realized that we have lots to do and ITS ALL FUN!!

Prague is a wonderful example of an ancient city yet Graffitti stands alongside and on top of architectural gems and seems to be tolerated-an odd sort of co-existence.

When you get you car towed in Prague, they lift up the entire car with a mechanical arm. Presto it is gone.

Dogs usually aren't leashed and just walk alongside their owners and are found in stores and restaurants

To use the water closet (toilet) cost 10 Kronos (crowns)

The public transportation is great!  Electric trams are plentiful.  We usually ride the 17 tram.  Scott has mastered the tram.  I get to wander along aimlessly.

Fresh food markets are everywhere

Cz Tv we don't understand a word of it.

It's a very charming place and we wonder if we can get it all in.

Still working on understanding the czech way.  They don't seem to be friendly but when pressed they can be reluctantly helpful.

We hear many different languages everyday.

There is no gun violence here because there are no guns but based on the weapons we saw in the medieval castle, there surely are some wicked shanks about somewhere.

Not many pics today but am working on Czech people photos and hope to post those tomorrow.

Tomorrow we dine at Fred and Ginger's restaurant on the top floor of Frank Gehry's Dancing House, then to Mozart's Don Giovanni Opera in the Estates Theater ( the same opera house that debuted Mozart's Don Giovanni in 1787.

We like European!
